A Family In Need:

Families Affected by Human Trafficking

Bringing Light to Hidden Struggles: Standing Against Human Trafficking in Every Community

Human trafficking isn’t something that happens “somewhere else.” It happens in cities, suburbs, rural towns and even in our own neighborhoods.

It impacts millions worldwide, but survivors are often left in silence, isolated from the resources and support they need. Families suffer emotional trauma, economic instability, and generational wounds.

At A Family In Need, our mission is to lift families out of crisis and into stability. That includes acknowledging and addressing the dangers that threaten their safety and dignity.

The
Billion-Dollar
Crisis

Human trafficking generates over $150 billion a year globally, making it one of the fastest-growing criminal industries.

Modern-Day Slavery: A Global Emergency

More than 27 million people are trapped in modern-day slavery today, many of them children.

Trafficking
Knows
No Borders

In the U.S., trafficking has been reported in all 50 states.

Communities Under Threat

Victims include individuals of all genders, races, and ages, but marginalized and economically vulnerable families are disproportionately affected

Uniting for Family Safety

We’re reinforcing the importance of safety amongst families. We believe real change happens when community-focused charities and passionate individuals work hand-in-hand.
